Field Supervisor


  • Examine and inspect work progress, equipment, and job sites to verify safety and to ensure that specifications are met.
  • Responsible for providing the necessary leadership to plan, organize, assign tasks, direct, coordinate, and control the field operations to meet all client relationships within the field office.
  • Ensure quality assurance operational objectives and policies are being met in and adhered to in compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Ensure operational safety performance, objectives, and policies are being met in and adhered to in compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Conduct field site visits (as required) for safety audits, quality audits, performance audits and client relations.
  • Confer with managerial or technical personnel, other departments to resolve problems or to coordinate activities including personnel requests, equipment requests and other operational critical items.
  • When necessary perform complete NDT field inspections based on customer requirements and procedures, JANX field procedures, focusing on quality, safety, and radiation safety as applicable.
  • Ensure all equipment is set up, calibrated, and functional at all times in line with JANX and customer procedures.
  • Ensure testing criteria is applied in accordance with applicable specifications, both conventional and advanced NDT.
  • Provide direction and guidance and ensure compliance with the codes, standards, and other documents that control the method as utilized by the customer and JANX, both conventional and advanced NDT.
  • Ensure all necessary paperwork is completed as required by client and company requirements; responsible for ensuring all paperwork is turned in timely, this includes but is not limited to safety forms, company required forms, customer forms, reports, and timesheets.
  • Direct, mentor, and train Level I Technicians and Trainees in the method(s) in which certified and capable of.
  • Follow and enforce the Company required safe work practices and procedures at all times.
  • Follow and enforce Company policies at all times.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills, professionalism, and promote a positive customer service attitude internally and externally
  • Enforce and abide the requirements of safe operation and personal safety using required Personal Protective Equipment and Safe Practices per company policy
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.


Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
