Seeking a Safety Specialist MASS
Our Client Company is a world-class supplier of automotive air conditioning compressors, conveniently located between Ann Arbor and Battle Creek, MI. Please submit your updated resume if you believe you may have the qualifications and experience I am looking for to fulfill their Safety Specialist position in Parma, MI. The annual salary is 48K to 65K, with relocation assistance potentially available for the ideal candidate.
The Safety Specialist assumes responsibility for injury/illness loss prevention and injury/illness incident investigation for the Safety, Health & Environmental Department side of the business.
Requirements:
(Note: Only candidates with the following qualifications will be considered)
Bachelors degree in Industrial Safety (preferred)
A background of 5 years safety related experience in a manufacturing or fast paced environment
Strong MS Office skills
Additional experience with safety compliance, hazardous risk identification and injury/illness investigation and prevention practices (desired)
Knowledge of Federal OSHA/MIOSHA regulations (desired)
