Working with our current staff, you'll quickly and thoroughly see and learn all phases and responsibilities of the tree business.
ALL our employees are essential, and daily duties include operating our skid steers, tractors, and backing up and loading trailers.
In the fields, you'll learn the plants, their locations, personalities and preferences, and the right way to prune, fertilize, dig and plant.
Trees of the Field LLC is a family-owned farm on 56 gently rolling acres in Parma, Michigan.
We are currently growing about 10,000 trees, and sell about 2000-3000 each year.
We plant about 2500 new trees every year.
You will need to set and reach goals, enjoy working outside in all kinds of weather, and appreciate making a difference in the world by growing trees.
We sell wholesale to nurseries, municipalities and several non-profit organizations.
Some experience with equipment is helpful but not required; a CDL or desire to get one is a plus.
Pay is very competitive and you will have January and February off to travel or pursue other passions.
